AI-moderated research for agencies: clients, branding, and licensing
Plan agency research in Versive: separate client projects, customize studies, share deliverables, and evaluate licensing and white-label requirements.
Agencies use Versive to run AI-moderated interviews and surveys for clients without scheduling a moderator for every session. You can keep each client's work separate, brand the participant experience, and hand over findings in a format the client can use.
Set up a workspace for each client
Most agencies create one folder per client inside their own Versive organization and set it to Invite only. Your team works across every client, and client stakeholders can be added to individual studies as viewers or commenters.
If a client wants to keep running research after the engagement, set them up with their own organization and join it as a collaborator. They own the workspace and the billing, which makes the handoff simple. See Folders & permissions.
Brand the participant experience
Participants should feel like they're talking to your client. For each study you can set:
- The interviewer's name and avatar
- The primary color
- The welcome and thank-you messages
Preview the study with the client before launch so they see exactly what participants will experience.
If your proposal depends on a custom domain, fully unbranded hosting, or resale rights, contact the Versive team to talk through what fits.
Scope the engagement
Price the engagement in three parts:
- Software. Your Versive plan covers interviews and seats. Monthly and annual billing are available, and Enterprise plans come with custom terms. See pricing.
- Recruiting. Use the client's own customers, or recruit through the built-in Prolific and Respondent integrations. Panel recruiting is billed separately, and you see the cost before launch.
- Your team's time. Piloting, analysis, and the client readout.

Reuse what works between clients
Start from a study template or a previous study, then swap in the new client's questions, assets, and messages. When the brief is a learning goal rather than a list of questions, an exploratory AI interview lets the AI run the conversation from that goal.
Run a short pilot before full fieldwork. It's the cheapest way to catch a confusing question before the client sees the results.
Deliver findings the client will use
Versive's AI analysis turns interviews into themes, each linked to the quotes behind it. From there you can:
- Build a report that combines findings from several studies
- Share it with a link the client can open without an account, and revoke it when the engagement ends
- Export the report to PDF, or export results to CSV for your own templates
If you used AI personas along the way, label those findings as simulations so the client knows what came from real participants. See Build a research report stakeholders will read.
Frequently asked questions
Can agencies run client research in Versive?
Yes. Agencies keep each client in its own folder, invite client stakeholders to the studies they need, and deliver findings as a shareable report. A client that wants its own long-term workspace can have a separate organization.
Can I brand studies for my client?
Yes. You can set the interviewer name, avatar, and color, and write the welcome and thank-you messages, so participants see an experience that fits the client. For custom domains or fully unbranded hosting, contact the Versive team.
Can clients see results without a Versive account?
Yes. Reports and results can be shared with a link that works without an account and can be revoked at any time. Reports also export to PDF.
