A new Figma plugin for testing with real and AI users

Our Figma plugin now supports multiple AI test types and lets you create studies for real users directly from Figma.

We've released a new version of our Figma plugin that supports multiple ways to test your designs, whether you want instant feedback from AI users or in-depth research with real participants. You can download it from the Figma Community here.

AI test types

When testing with AI users, you can now choose between three test types:

• Structured Test: AI users provide feedback on each screen individually, giving you focused insights on specific parts of your design.
• Conversational Test: AI users participate in a dynamic usability interview, simulating how real users might navigate and respond to your prototype.
• Expert Audit: An AI expert reviews your designs against UX best practices and accessibility guidelines.

Each test type is optimized for different research goals. Structured tests are great for quick screen-by-screen feedback, conversational tests help you understand user flows, and expert audits catch usability issues before you test with real users.

Real user tests from Figma

You can now also create Versive studies for real users directly from the plugin. Select your Figma frames, describe your task, and we'll generate a complete study that you can share with participants.

This makes it easy to go from design to research without leaving Figma. Start with AI tests for rapid iteration, then validate your designs with real users when you're ready.
