You can now have AI users take your AI-moderated surveys and interviews, giving you instant feedback before recruiting real participants.
You can now run your Versive studies with AI users. Describe your target personas, click a button, and get realistic responses in minutes. This makes it easy to test your study design, preview how participants might respond, and iterate quickly before recruiting real users.
How it works
From the Launch tab, you can simulate your study with AI personas. Describe who you want to take your study—their demographics, background, attitudes, or any other characteristics that matter for your research. You can run multiple simulations at once, each with different personas.
The AI users will go through your entire study just like a real participant would. They'll answer your questions, respond to follow-ups from the AI interviewer, and provide feedback on any prototypes or images you've included. When they're done, you'll see their responses in the Results tab alongside any real participant data.
Why this matters
Testing with AI users helps you catch issues early. You can see if your questions make sense, whether your study flow works, and what kinds of responses you might expect—all before spending time and money on real recruitment.
It's also useful for generating sample data when building reports or demonstrating your research to stakeholders. And because AI users respond instantly, you can iterate on your study design much faster than you could with real participants.
Estimated completion time
We've also added estimated completion time to your studies. You'll now see a time estimate (like "3-5 minutes") in the study editor that updates as you add or remove questions. The estimate is based on question types, study mode, and content length, helping you design studies that respect your participants' time.
