PDF exports, richer personas, and better performance

Export insights as PDF, build richer personas, generate insights for larger studies, and more.

We've shipped a handful of improvements over the past few weeks focused on making Versive work better for larger studies and giving you more ways to share and export your results.

Export insights as PDF

You can now export your study insights as a formatted PDF. The export includes a cover page, executive summary, custom AI insights, and a dedicated page for each question with embedded charts and data tables. We've also made exports faster for large studies.

Richer, more detailed personas

We've increased the persona content limit from 50,000 to 500,000 characters and upgraded the underlying models. More importantly, we've upgraded how personas are generated — the system now prioritizes preserving more specific details from your source data.

That means your personas will retain exact names, numbers, quotes, metrics, and edge cases from your research files. If you upload interview transcripts or user data, the resulting personas will be more faithful to what your users actually said and did.

Large study performance

We made several optimizations to improve performance for large studies (ones with 1,000+ responses). Our results page loads faster and paginates data more efficiently. Plus, our insight page now generates insights for both qualitative and quantitative questions faster and more reliably.

Smarter response timers

The duration timer for AI-moderated questions now tracks response time separately from total elapsed time. Color coding (green/yellow/red) only activates after the participant starts typing or recording, so participants aren't penalized for reading time.

We've also added follow-up question duration support. Follow-up questions automatically get shorter suggested durations (50% of the parent question), and you can override these in the question settings.
